Work Schedule:Onsite in Tur, South Sinai — hybrid/remote options available for exceptional candidates
Salary:Up to 60,000 EGP/month
Project-Based Rate:15K–25K EGP/sprint (2–3 week cycles)
Ideal for Go developers who enjoy focused problem-solving, and prefer flexible engagements tied to deliverables.
Your Responsibilities
- Write clear, efficient, and modular code in Go.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Apply concurrency patterns like goroutines, channels, and worker pools.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and sprint planning.
- Write unit tests and contribute to team test coverage goals.
- Document your work clearly (GoDoc, flowcharts, etc.).
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, including 1+ year in Go.
- Good understanding of Go idioms, tooling, and concurrency primitives.
- Familiarity with RESTful design, Docker, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Experience using Git, CI/CD workflows, and debugging tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to achieve a minimum of 85% code coverage.
- Comfortable with designing NoSQL data models (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
- Experience with containerization and Docker.
Nice to Have
- Experience with gRPC and Protobuf 3.0
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services (GCP)
- Experience with Linux command line and scripting.
